What good is a transceiver if you are out of power? This battery pack can be slipped on in seconds in the place of the rechargeable battery. It holds (10) ten AA alkaline batteries. We suggest lithium batteries due to their long shelf and operational life. This item proved its worth when our staff lost electrical power while in Canada on their way to Fairbanks, Ak. This battery pack is compatible with both the ICOM IC-A22 and the IC-A3.
