When Best Glide ASE was founded in 2002, we planned on carrying only survival items required by Canada or Alaska regarding aircraft over flights. However, we were encouraged by the response we received due to the fact that we offer only high quality survival items at a reasonable price. Through accumulation of products due to research and personal requests, we found that we had, in inventory, almost every item you could possibly want in a survival kit. We also found that we could provide these kits at better prices than other companies, using higher quality survival gear in many cases, because we already have them in stock!

In comparing our kits to others, we were discouraged to see how many companies were selling very low quality items, but charging very high prices. We knew we could do much better. Thus the Best Glide Wilderness Series Survival Kits were born.

Each Wilderness Survival Kit below includes a version of our Fishing Series Survival Kits, also known as Survival Fishing Kits.

Wilderness-Trekker Survival Kit

The Wilderness-Trekker is the least expensive and equipped survival kit in the Best Glide Wilderness Series of Survival Kits. It includes much more than a personal survival kit, including only the highest quality items that would be most used in a survival situation. It is not nearly as comprehensive as the below survival kits and is contained in a 9" x 6" MilSpec Aloksak Zip Lock Bag.

The Wilderness-Trekker Survival Kit is designed to be compact so as to fit in your pack, camping bag, day pack, glove compartment or emergency bag.

Wilderness-Companion Survival Kit

The Wilderness-Companion is the next survival kit in Best Glide's Wilderness Series Survival Kits. It contains more of the most needed items, adding a better stocked first aid kit, a highly rated survival guide and survival food among additional high quality survival items. This is also the first kit that includes a US Made, MilSpec, Cordura Survival Kit Bag.

This kit is better stocked, with better quality items, than most of the other kits we find listed on the internet. It also includes a 10% discount coupon for future purchases from Best Glide ASE. This is ideal for restocking, or simply adding items you would like to have in your kit.

Wilderness-Guardian Survival Kit

The Wilderness-Guardian is just below our top of the line Wilderness Series Kit, the Wilderness-Survivor Kit. The Wilderness-Guardian kit is getting very close to a fully stocked kit, only lacking a few items we thought could be helpful in a survival situation. However, make no mistake, you cannot beat this kit for the money.

Other kits of this type sell for in excess of $300, with much lesser quality items. This kit, as do the above kits, carries numerous NATO Approved Survival items. It also comes provided in a US Made, MilSpec Cordura, Survival Kit Bag and also includes a 10% discount coupon for future purchases.
