      I am interested in your button compass and would like to know if you can ship to South Africa. Also, would you be able to supply me with the dimensions of the product?

      Thank you for your inquiry. We will be happy to ship this item to South Africa for you without a problem. The Marble's Brass Button Survival Compass is approximately 1 inch in diameter, and 1/3 of an inch thick. This does not include the Pin-On feature. If you choose the purchase the Marble's Brass Button Survival Compass with the Pin On, it will stick out approximately 1 inch from the back.

    • Why does the pin on compass have in addition to the pin have a sort of a bracket with a hole in it? Thank you, anthony

      Thank you for contacting Best Glide ASE!

      The bracket on the compass is used as a holding piece for the pin, and doubles as a sort of tool, or brace, to keep the compass facing upright when pinned to clothing.

      The pin can also be removed, and a lanyard can be attached to the bracket if you would prefer to wear it like a necklace, or attach a chain and keep it in your pocket.
