    • How does this kit differ from the Adventurer Pocket Survival Tin?
    • Tom,

That is a great question. There are several differences between the two kits. Most have to do with packaging, but some do not.

First, the Military Issued Military Scout Pocket Survival Tin comes in a heavy duty, moisture, air and sun resistant package. The interior tin is the same, but it comes with a "subdued" label instead of the bright blue and red one seen on the Adventurer Pocket Survival Tin. Next, several items within the tin itself come in subdued colors instead of the traditional orange seen in civilian survival kits. Last, the Military Scout Version comes without the Survival Kit Tin Stickers as it is assumed that the military would not have much use for these with their survival training.

I believe that covers the changes. I might have missed a minor one or two, but as you can see, the kits are basically the same minus some minor cosmetic differences. Both use the same high quality gear, from the same manufacturers. Therefore, the Adventurer Pocket Survival Kit is every bit as quality as the Military Scout Pocket Survival Kit.

I hope this helps. Thank you very much for visiting us and we hope to hear from you soon.
