    For the time being, it is same compass with the exception of the housing. The reason I say for the time being is that we are about to order a higher quality 20mm compass for our customers who don't mind paying a little bit more for a more accurate and dependable compass.

    Thank you for your question. Our Watch Band Survival Compass fits a band of standard thickness and up to 1/2 inch wide. If for some reason the compass did not work out for what you are needing it for, we will gladly accept returns as well as exchanges. This is a wonderful little compass that would be a great addition to anyone's gear.
