Official USAF 21st Century A-2 Jacket

Cockpit USA (formerly Avirex LTD), the prime and only USAF government contractor for Air Force issue A-2 Flight Jackets now offers the updated current 21st century version of the classic A-2 Air Force pilot's jacket, made out of the same luxurious Mil. Spec. government goatskin as earlier A-2 versions. The Air Force life support division listened to their pilots' requests to modify the 1987 version of the A-2 to accommodate current needs. This A2 Flight Jacket now offers a host of new features which do not detract from its authentic appearance, but provide the user with modern day conveniences.

USAF First Reissue A-2 Since 1943 Jacket

Cockpit USA (formerly Avirex LTD) is the current manufacturer and supplier to the United States Air Force for its A-2 goatskin leather flight jacket. This A-2 Jacket is made of 100% goatskin and is made according to USAF specifications dating to 1987 when the US Air Force first reissued the leather A-2 jacket working with Jeff Clyman, now President of Cockpit USA, to update the older WWII A2 Flight Jacket specifications. This A-2 Aviator Jacket is the previous version to the above current issue USAF A2 Flight Jacket. This Aviator Jacket's most notable differences are no side entry pockets and the inclusion of the hook and eye collar fastener.

US Navy Issue Mil Spec Type G-1 Jacket

The Navy G-1 Aviator Jacket is made of 100% Mil Spec goatskin.  It follows the current Mil. Spec. US Navy pattern which Cockpit supplied to the Navy and Coast Guard units.  The jacket features a bi-swing back but we have added a genuine silky lambs wool shearling mouton fur collar like the WWII era jackets (instead of the current government spec synthetic acrylic collar), knit cuffs and waistband, top entry front flap pockets, full zip front wind flap stamped with the USN insignia, under arm grommets, an inside chest pocket, and a high quality nylon lining. When it comes to quality and durability, you cannot beat this Mil Spec, American Made, G1 Aviatior Jacket.

The Cockpit all Cotton "100 Mission" A-2 Jacket

The Cockpit first introduced the Cotton Aviator A2 Jacket in 1986 for those who want the look of the original, but need lighter weight than leather for all season wear.  Traditional A-2 Flight Jacket styling features tightly woven cotton twill, snap close top entry pockets with side entry pockets, epaulets, inside chest pocket, washable leather snap collar and shoulder tabs, knit cuffs and waistband, full front zipper under wind flap, hidden pen pocket, and grommets.
