The US NAVY Mil Spec G1 Jacket is made of 100% Mil
Spec goatskin. This G-1 Aviator Jacket follows the current Mil
Spec US Navy pattern which Cockpit supplied to
the Navy and Coast Guard units.
The Cockpit Navy G1 Aviator Jacket
features a bi-swing back but the Cockpit G2 Aviator Jacket also includes
a genuine silky lambs wool shearling mouton fur
collar like the WWII era jackets (instead of the
current government spec synthetic acrylic
collar). The NAVY Mil Spec G1 Flight Jacket also includes knit cuffs and waistband, top entry
front flap pockets, full zip front wind flap
stamped with the USN insignia, under arm
grommets, an inside chest pocket, and nylon
lining.
We recommend that you order one size
larger G-1 Aviator Jacket than your normal size for a roomier fit
as this is a Mil Spec size garment. A size larger is also recommended if you plan to wear heavy clothing underneath your Aviator Jacket. For
those who prefer the true to size fit, order
your actual size.
